Next to the facilities of the Environmental Education Center of Sikyonians, within a rich forest of black pine and plane trees, lie the premises of Klemetis Camps. The “Klemetis Camps” were built in the 1950s with the care and dedication of Dr. Konstantinos Choremis, a physician and academic from Klemeti. The facilities cover almost the entire slope above the village of Klemeti and include dormitories, kitchens, bathrooms, a medical center, sports and recreational areas, restaurants, and everything needed for an organized camping site.
From the terrace square outside the camp’s restaurant, the view towards the plain of Pellini is unobstructed and enchanting. From this same point, hiking trails start towards the beautiful forest on the eastern slopes of Ziria. Unfortunately, in recent years due to the specific health conditions required to address the COVID-19 pandemic, the camp operated sporadically, hosting events such as the Ducati Festival and others.
