KATO TARSOΣ: Mountain village at an altitude of 1040 meters. It is located in the western part of the prefecture, 100 km west of Corinth. An important attraction is the deserted monastery of Panagia tou Vrahou, built in the shade of a huge rock that brings to mind the Meteora. The temple of the monastery is built in a crevice of the rock, always open to visitors who want to enjoy the wonderful view towards Ziria, especially on winter afternoons.
