Kato Diminio Beach (Pefkias)
🎫 FreeThe beach at Kato Diminio runs along the seafront of the settlement, two kilometres west of Kiato, and carries on uninterrupted towards the town.
What sets it apart is Pefkias: a small pine wood that runs parallel to the shore and gives shade a few metres from the water. It is thought to have formed, together with the pine wood of Xylokastro, part of a larger forest that once covered the southern shores of the Corinthian Gulf.
The settlement has around 1,100 residents, many of them working in tourism. From the centre of Kiato you can reach it on foot or by bike, following the shore.
