Early-Christian Church of Panagitsa
🎫 FreePanagitsa is an Early Christian basilica of the 5th century AD, excavated by the archaeologist A. Orlandos near Kiato. The church was raised on the site of, and partly from the material of, an ancient temple, as Doric columns found nearby attest, capturing the passage from antiquity to the Christian era. Set on a low hill close to the sea, in an area linked to the ancient harbour of Sikyon, it is one of the region's most significant early monuments and a rewarding stop for lovers of history.
