Hadrian’s Aqueduct / Vochaikos Channel
🎫 FreeHadrian's Aqueduct was built around AD 130 under the philhellene emperor Hadrian to carry water from the springs of Stymphalia all the way to ancient Corinth, following a remarkable route of some 85 kilometres across rugged mountain terrain. A surviving stretch runs through the plain of Kiato, known locally as the Vochaikos Channel, a testament to the sophisticated hydraulic engineering of the Roman era.
