Velina is a mountain village in the prefecture of Corinthia with a population of 136 permanent residents, who are mainly engaged in livestock farming and agriculture. The village is surrounded by a forest of black pine and fir trees. There is a local cultural association in Velina, while every September a tomato festival is held in the village. The central church of the village is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and was built in the late 19th century.
