Goulas Tower, Kaisari
🎫 FreeOn a low hill about 1.7 km southwest of Kaisari stand the remains of a medieval fortified tower, known as a goulas. Its precise history remains unknown; the very word 'goulas', of Arabic origin, has been used for such fortifications since the Late Byzantine period. Kaisari appears in the Venetian census of 1700, though the tower itself is not mentioned. Today the site rewards visitors with wide views across the surrounding countryside.
