Built on a tiny promontory linked to the shore by a slender strip of land, it seems to float upon the lake, forming one of the most photographed scenes in the region. With mountains mirrored all around and the historic Monastery of Agios Georgios rising higher above, a visit here is as tranquil as it is unforgettable, especially in the soft morning light.
