📍 Stymfalia
Lafka is located at an altitude of 680 meters, southwest of Lake Stymphalia and 73 km from Corinth, with a population of 406 inhabitants. A characteristic feature is the small stream that runs through it and the countless little bridges that the locals have built over it. However, the village’s gem is the church of Agios Athanasios, which was built in 1888-89 on the site of an older church. The altar screen of the church is exceptional, the work of Lykourgos, as well as its icons, which are the work of Athonite monks. Finally, Lafka has had a Folklore Museum since 1993, which includes old household utensils and agricultural tools among its exhibits.
